The coffee here deserves special mention, brewed fresh and often accompanied by the engaging ritual of watching staff grind beans right before your eyes. Lunch stop. Like stepping into a Cuban time warp. Authentic decor and menu selection. Decent prices. Air conditioned. Had a Bruno Mars soundtrack on while we were there. Staff sang 'happy birthday' and brought out a dessert for a guest.

This place was super tasty, local authentic food. I went here for brunch and I had a great experience. Big portion for a good price. I paid $165 pesos for so much food.

Sopa de Tortilla is very tasty. Sometimes you have to wait a long time. Atmosphere cute. Breakfast is nice,, coffee excellent. A nice place as an inexpensive night out.

I really enjoyed eating here at Cafe La Habana! It has all the comfort foods and coffee drinks you'd like to choose with both a Mexican and Cuban flair! The restaurant is a little dim inside but that's because there's so much natural light coming in through the windows. You can also purchase fresh ground coffee and watch the staff grind the coffee beans in front of you. It's conveniently located about two to three blocks up from Plaza Grande. The wait staff were very nice, too!

Solid Mexican food, properly sized and good in taste. I went here for lunch and since I usually don’t eat anything in the morning, this meal literally filled me up for the whole day. The portions are huge and good in taste. As for the coffee, don’t expect anything special, as it tastes like a simple filtered coffee. The staff was nice and helpful as well. Fruits have been fresh.

We had a good overall experience in terms of food and service! The combos 10 & 15, huevos divorciados c/ bistec and huevos morros were huge portions along with bread and great flavor. The coffee was to be desired, especially to be a coffee toaster and we were a little disappointed. The service was a little disorganized, the waiter almost dropped someone’s to go while serving us our plates, but the other waiters helped. Great food for the price we spent $15 for great portions!

We visited Cafe La Habana for a late night snack and we both had a torta, Cuban especial y milanesa, the things are huge, in fact we are going to split one next visit. Highly efficient wait staff and a unique atmosphere make for uninteresting dinning experience. Good espresso drinks.
